Week of March 1st - 7th 2021Monday / 1st We begin this week with the Moon, our emotional nature, in the harmony loving sign of Libra. That by itself can be nice and creative but we have the added bonus of a positive and supportive trine to the trickster Mercury and the Abundant King Jupiter, who are maintaining the birds eye view in Aquarius. This is brief but very auspicious as it can give us a feeling of expansion and hope. Tuesday / 2nd When we wake up Tuesday Morning, we may have a brief but intense and deep emotional dive into truth as the Moon makes a tense square to the Powerful and Probing Pluto. At the same time, Mars, which governs our will and ego, will have moved to the Anaretic degree. This is the 29th degree and it holds in it every lesson we have learned with Mars in the steady and sensuous sign of Taurus. If you have been low energy lately this would be a possible culprit and it will reach its heights while at this specific spot. So while we may feel like we are trudging through Mud, it is worth noting that Mars will break free from the sign based square it has had with the Task Master and Rule Maker - Saturn. We are almost there, and sometimes the last few steps seem to be the most challenging. To add to the intensity, The Moon moves to the Deep Emotional Waters of Scorpio later in the afternoon and we see how a few different areas of our life seem to be pulling on one another. How much am I worth (Uranus in Taurus), how much am I willing to share (Moon in Scorpio), and what are my goals for the future(Aquarius)? Wednesday / 3rd The Scorpio Moon is quite affected by several different transits in the wee hours of Wednesday morning and so we might wake up with the feeling that this is the most humpday of all humpdays. The Moon first makes a beautiful trine with Venus in Pisces as the receptive planet of love makes an opportunistic sextile to Uranus. Together, this should spark an intuitive awareness about a situation that you have been wanting to shift. The Moon then squares Saturn which forces us to look at the actual reality of the situation and what we can do about it within our own limits and structures. The Moon trines the Sun after Noon and Neptune late in the evening which together gives us an overall feeling of harmony between our emotional nature and our purpose. These shifts are only pushing you towards your destiny. The work with the Moon in Scorpio overall is deep and watch for the desire to Escape. If you feel like “getting out of reality”, use Creative Expression and Self-Care as that Magical Outlet. Smudge the house, chant, meditate, watch a documentary, take a nap! Fill your own cup. Thursday / 4th When you wake up, you might feel like a new person, because Mars will be in Gemini! YAY! Mars, the planet of action takes on a much busier, buzzier, frenetic energy in the communicative and thinking sign of Gemini. Its ok if you don’t feel a spark right off the bat though as the first part of the day the Moon is still in the deep waters of Scorpio. Perhaps during the first half of the day we are finishing the process of investigation and boy do we use what we have discovered as the Moon moves into Sagittarius and Opposes Mars in Gemini around dinner-time. Mercury also happens to be almost exactly conjunct Jupiter in Aquarius during this transit to the propensity to say things we don’t mean or speak a truth that someone else may not be ready or willing to hear is HIGH. I only tell you this so that you can make an informed decision during this transit and think before you speak. Depending on where you are at, it may be something that truly needs to be said - or something that truly needs to be kept to yourself. Friday / 5th through Sunday / 7th The Moon in optimistic and expansive Sagittarius comes into a tense Mutable Grand Cross mid-morning Friday with the Nodes in Gemini/Sag and Venus, the Sun, and Neptune in the ethereal diffusive sign of Pisces, and the keeper of the fire, Vesta in the focused and service oriented sign of Virgo. This is also the 3rd Quarter Square of the Moon and is the last adjustment of the Moon phase. I see this day as a re-imagining of our narrative. After the shift of Mars into Gemini we may feel spun around and disoriented so do not expect to see things extremely clearly on this day. So imagine those roots running deep and know that no matter how confusing reality seems at this time, that something is building in it. Some transmutation, some necessary dissolution. The thing about times like these is, the best thing we can do is surrender and let that metamorphosis occur. This tone is held through most of the weekend with the Moon in Sag and the Sun remaining square the nodes. Sunday will feel the most grounded with the Moon moving into Capricorn late Saturday night. Sunday morning we might awake with our feet on more solid ground and an increased ability to organize ourselves for the week ahead.
