November 29 - December 6
Usually, when I do my newsletter, some big astrological event dominates in importance, like this week's Dec 4th Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius. However, that does not mean we should throw out each individual and important moment. For instance, Neptune stations direct on Wednesday but has several connections to make just before - and this means dreams will be incredibly active! Get out your journals.
But, believe it or not, this first week of December is actually a small fish in an even larger pond - the whole of December is chock full of important astrology. I will attempt, for the first time EVER, to do an entire month ahead forecast. Because in addition to what I have mentioned already, Mars will make connections to Pluto and Jupiter, Venus will conjoin Pluto and then go retrograde. Also, Saturn will square Uranus for the third and final time this year.
So join me, if you will, on Wednesday, December 1 at 1 PM CST for a month ahead live-cast on Facebook and Instagram! No need to sign up just put it on your calendar and find me on either social media platform at the time of the event.

And speaking of looking ahead - won't you join me for the 2022 year ahead outlook. The recording will be available afterward if you can't make it to the live. But if you do decide to show up to the webinar, I will be taking questions!

Monday November 29
Ego is being transcended today with a Mars in Scorpio supportive trine to Neptune in Pisces. This aspect may make it hard to accomplish much as we begin the day. Yet, it does provide inspiration and the stirring of a desire from deep within. There is a need to merge with that transcendent source. Some people try to name it God, Enlightenment, Happiness, Love - all of these are words for a thing that cannot, in actuality, be named. Today is ripe for chasing that side of reality. The symbolism today is so rich - especially considering Venus in Capricorn is also coming into its exact sextile with Neptune, completing a magical, supportive, and opportunistic "minor grand trine" aspect. Venus in Capricorn is giving us insight into the events of the last two years - and its sextile to both Mars and Neptune will complete this aha moment.
But that is not all! Mercury in Sagittarius, which represents how we interact with beliefs and truth, is trine to Chiron in Aries, inviting us to come to the door of perception, naked, as we arrived in this world. Saturn stands in Aquarius, fitting Mercury and Chiron with the wings for a birds-eye view to see how limiting narratives and outdated tenets may hold us back from knowing true love and self-acceptance. As you can see, this means we have two separate "minor grand trines," and LUCKY doesn't even begin to describe the way we are blessed on this Moonday. Speaking of, the Moon is in Libra and is in a supportive trine to Saturn in Aquarius which means we will also feel supported by relationships in our lives.
Tuesday, November 30
Today continues the themes from yesterday with Venus making its exact sextile to Neptune. Expect some downloads and upgrades today, in our hearts and our minds. The Moon in Libra is making a few important aspects that are building towards exact throughout the day. First, a square to Venus. Square aspects spur us into action, and that action might include setting boundaries in relationships or necessary work to get things just right in a situation. This theme carries on as later in the day as the Libra Moon then squares Pluto in Capricorn. The last thing to happen is the Moon trine, Jupiter, as we go to bed. I expect this to be a fantastic day because of the Moon's connections to both Venus and then Jupiter. And while it might require at least a little bit of work, it is the fulfilling kind, with a goal in mind.
Wednesday December 1
Rabbit Rabbit! It's the first day of December, and what a divine one to wake up to. The Moon enters Scorpio very early in the morning, and then Neptune stations direct with Venus and Mars still close in aspect! On days when outer planets stop and turn direct, reality can seem peculiar. So today may seem like 'liquid reality'. Neptune governs the diffusive and intangible parts of existence, especially when placed in its modern home of Pisces. With the addition of the Moon and Mars both in Scorpio, this Neptune station's watery and mysterious nature is amplified. Under these mystical and perhaps confusing circumstances, the Moon applying to a square with Saturn in Aquarius late in the evening can help ground us. However, the Moon also forms an opposition to Uranus right after this square, activating Saturn's mounting third and final square to Uranus, exact later in the month (December 24). Pay attention tonight to both the parts of you that need stability and the parts of you that need liberation. The Moon will draw attention to deep desires and personal empowerment.
Thursday, December 2
The Moon begins to get darker on its way to the Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius, but first, it has a few appointments to make in Scorpio. Today's dominating theme is the Moon's sextile to Venus and conjunction with Mars, which gets closer in the second half of the day. After yesterday's tense but enlightening fixed t-square, we are aware of areas in our lives that need to be adjusted to be more empowered and have our deep desires met. It is always tricky when our passion and willpower embolden our emotional impulses, which can create a sensitive time in which we might lash out! Luckily, with Venus in Capricorn playing mediator, we can feel grounded in our own authority and act from a reasoned place. Late in the evening, the Moon sextiles Pluto in Capricorn and squares Jupiter in Aquarius. We may feel the excited nervousness of embarking on a foreign adventure.
Friday, December 3
Early in the morning, the Moon moves into Sagittarius, activating the South Node and Eclipse energies. So, while the New Moon/Eclipse won't be exact until after midnight, we are already deep in its shadow as we start our day. During these dark Moon times, I like to be quiet and listen, but especially so because it is in the sign of Sagittarius. This sign is loaded with the philosophical archetypes of the sage, seer, guru, all-knowing, wise teacher. Yet, our invitation during this transit is not to know, believe, or see - it is to do away with all that we THINK we know, believe, or see. This makes way for a new story, a new knowing - but first, we must listen and hear. So I do recommend being mindful today, even if you can't be quiet. Watch the movements of the animals and take note of synchronicities, for there is a message there. I would also mind my body as Mars in Scorpio is very close to being square Jupiter in Aquarius, the ruler of this Eclipse. South Node Solar Eclipses usually indicate a time of leaving something behind, experiencing fated events, or a stirring up of our karmic past, and so it can feel quite heavy. Stay grounded with Venus in Capricorn, illuminating the structures and boundaries that support us.
Saturday, December 4
The Solar Eclipse/New Moon in Sagittarius has already happened when most of us are just waking up, but, we are still very much in the shadow of this Eclipse. The first connection made by the Moon today is a meeting with the messenger Mercury. So, we must keep our minds open to insights from external or internal sources. After lunch, the Moon makes a square to Neptune and sextile to Jupiter, which cranks up the strange dial. This will not be your typical Saturday, and I recommend staying in a place of reverence for the spiritual insights available to us. It is a great day to write, create, or ponder the mysteries of life.
Sunday, December 5
The Moon moves into Capricorn early in the morning, and we are officially cleared from the Solar Eclipse. The day is emotionally chilled with the Moon in the cold sign of Capricorn. Yet, our willpower and determination is charged, with sights set on the inevitable connections of Mars and Venus to powerful Pluto. Although the transit isn't exact today, its in the build-up that most transits play out today. Mars is our ego, willpower, passion, desires, and when it makes a sextile to Pluto, it is an opportunity to enact transformation at the very core of who we are. When presented with a chance to step into power - will you take it?
Monday, December 6
The Mars sextile to Pluto is exact as we awake early in the morning, but as it passes Pluto it begins to square off with Jupiter in Aquarius - this heightens the need to go above and beyond to achieve our goals. Venus is slowing down to go retrograde and, as such, is taking its time getting to its meeting with Pluto, the god of the underworld. The Moon, however, comes in to hurry this meeting along as it meets up with Venus and then Pluto in the late evening. This conjunction looks like a decision to change something regarding relationships or finances. I can't help but see how the dance of this whole week's astrology fits together to reflect our values and self-worth back to us. Are you truly seeing how much you are worth? What needs to shift to reflect better how much you value yourself? Its a deep dive Moonday.
SOLAR ECLIPSE THEME's BY RISING SIGN
Monday, Nov 22
Today is the first full day of the Sagittarius season, a time when we celebrate life and pontificate our beliefs to those we gather with. Let us keep in mind that we are in between eclipses, and anything that happens during this time can be meaningful to our story. The Moon is in Cancer today but will give us a bit of a rest and time to feel. It won't make any aspects until bedtime when it sextiles Uranus in Taurus, allowing us to feel emotional liberation and perhaps providing us an epiphany.
Tuesday, Nov 23
We are ready for action as we start this Tuesday with the Moon in Cancer trine Mars in Scorpio, but that motivation might be quickly dispersed when the Moon then trines diffusive Neptune in Pisces in the early afternoon. The Sun is with the South Node in Sagittarius today, which can stir up some karmic dust. It is a reminder of the choices we have during the two weeks between eclipses. Do we choose a new story or get wrapped up in the old one? Today we may get a glimpse at the possibilities. The Moon will oppose Pluto later in the evening, so I will give this day an increased rating on the "trigger scale"- especially because Mercury reaches the anaretic degree of crisis at 29º Scorpio around the same time. We could be making some crucial personal decisions this evening.
Wednesday, Nov 24
The Moon is finishing up the voyage through its home sign of Cancer this morning and might feel a little slow to start, but that quickly changes as Mercury moves into Sagittarius around mid-morning. Humans get really philosophical when Hermes visits the sign of the Archer, and that will get kicked up another notch as the Moon moves into Leo to trine Mercury. This centers our mental and emotional processes around feeling seen and being heard. We may be more likely to speak our truth even if we typically stay quiet. So get ready for the day to be abuzz with creative debate - Mercury and the Moon want to put on a bit of a show, after all. The Moon in Leo will also draw our attention to sensitive areas and how we can improve our framework to support healing these wounds around being our authentic selves. Saturn is sextile Chiron currently, and the Moon in Leo will trine Chiron and oppose Saturn at the same time, late in the evening. Take care of yourself this night. If you had any difficult situations or triggering conversations, remember it is possible to build a life that supports you in your continued healing and self-acceptance.
Thursday, Nov 25
Today is Thanksgiving in the U.S., a time when friends and families come together to celebrate and pontificate. That is extra true for this year's thanksgiving with Mercury closely situated on the South Node of the Moon in Sagittarius as it closes in on its meeting with the Sun. The Moon is in Leo and will square Uranus in Taurus first thing in the morning, adding a bit of a rebellious flare to an already outspoken day. Venus is in a loose but still very active opportunistic sextile with Mars in Scorpio. That is a good thing when it comes to being compassionate in an otherwise triggering situation. By dinnertime, the Moon in Leo will begin to square Mars - this could have tempers flaring briefly. If one is prone to arguing and debating already, be aware that this evening is extraordinarily ripe and fertile ground for a fight. So cool tempers by getting space (if you can) and being grounded in love and compassion. The reason for the season is being Grateful, not Hateful. Hopefully, we can lay loving boundaries down, but there is a possibility this could reflect that you actually NEED to be loud about something. However it works out for you, try to remember to stay in integrity and self-awareness.
Friday, Nov 26
Today the Moon is in Leo opposing Jupiter first thing in the morning, bringing up feelings about our convictions and inner truths, which is likely a carryover from the previous day's events. The rest of the day may feel like it floats by as the Moon does not make any other aspects. However, things pick up in the healing realm as Saturn makes an exact sextile to the wounded healer, Chiron, close to the same time that the Moon moves into Virgo, just after dinner. The 3rd Quarter waning square of the Moon to the Nodes & Sun may bring with it realization about what the eclipses mean for us; Tonight is the "last adjustment" of this Moon phase and will be a contemplative, healing, and magical evening. Mars is also getting closer to its trine with Neptune.
Saturday, Nov 27
What a special day! The Moon in Virgo is inconjunct to Chiron and Saturn making a Yod or 'the finger of God'. Usually, the point of the yod is a place where we need to put our attention, and Virgo's archetype is that of holism, health, wellness, routine, ritual, and pruning. This makes today perfect for getting out in nature or doing some winter cleaning - anything you consider an activity that helps clear your head and heart. Later, the Moon makes a trine to Uranus in Taurus, which will give us feelings of liberation and renewal. Dreams will be super active.
Sunday, Nov 28
Waking up to a transcendental, magical, and beautiful Sunday as several planets make a supportive or opportunistic aspect to Neptune. Mars in Scorpio is trine Neptune, Venus in Capricorn is sextile Neptune, and the Moon in Virgo is opposite Neptune most of the day. If you were looking for a day to restore, renew, relax, and create, this is the perfect time with so many planets in synergy. In addition, there is also a Mercury Cazimi as it meets with the Sun. For me, the best part of this is that essentially, our consciousness and mental processes are renewed by the Sun's fire during this transit. In Sagittarius, this relates to the negative and self-limiting beliefs we have been releasing during this eclipse cycle. Today will be looked on as a huge turning point in our spirit. It seems as if a lot of pieces of the puzzle fall into place. Enjoy!!
The Week of Nov 29 Preview
Monday feels very different from the week prior as we awake with the Moon in Libra first thing. Mercury has now passed the Sun and is charting new territory. Mars makes its exact trine to Neptune today. As far as the rest of the week, the big story is the Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius, Saturday, Dec 4. Everything this week will be a build-up to that with Mars closing in on its sextile to Pluto and square to Jupiter as well as Venus getting closer and closer to its conjunction with Pluto and stationing to go retrograde. Dec 2 - 4 looks particularly energized and fated.
Ecstatic Astro Weekly
WELCOME TO ECLIPSE WEEK! There is a Lunar Eclipse Friday, November 19th. This week will only build towards it. Overall, the next few months will be a wrapping up of not only one, but two years of very heavy hitting astrological weather. Its like a winding down, a polishing. I feel that more than ever. I will attempt to sprinkle my reasoning into the weekly newsletter.
Eclipse focus by rising sign (or sun sign) is at the bottom if you want to skip the daily.
Monday November 15th
Today is a big day full of surprises. The Sun in Scorpio is square to Jupiter in Aquarius. This, accompanied by the building Mars opposition to Uranus, will make it impossible to hide what we truly want, but the more important question is, what would we do if we GOT what we wanted? Monday night features the Moon in Aries applying to a Square with Powerful Pluto. Do we have what it takes to stand in our own authority? Tuesday will tell.
Tuesday November 16th
Tempers and tensions begin to mount today. The Moon is in Aries when we meet the day, and it is in an opportunistic sextile with Jupiter. Feelings are fiery, and the Aquarian air fans the flames of belief. At the same time the Moon squares powerful Pluto. We are, in a sense, coming into a time of wrapping up a storyline in our lives. There have been struggles regarding autonomy and authority and profound transformation wherever Capricorn is placed in your chart. Pluto is finishing up it's transit of this sign of the next two years, and it feels as if we are at the precipice of our own power. At the same time, the Sun in Scorpio sextiles Pluto. This transit illuminates the fact that what we run from the most is actually our true desires. Mars in Scorpio, our willpower and desire, is gradually closing in on its opposition to Uranus in Taurus, an upheaval in values. The two must come to an agreement, but first, tensions must be released. Explosive and shocking events are a theme of these transits - and tonight it may begin to show itself. I always suggest being extra vigilant with your body, anger, and impulsivity during this time. This could also be reflective of world events. Tempers and tensions are flaring everywhere in the world. If you have been looking for a time to speak up for yourself, it may be impossible to avoid during this transit. The Moon moves into Taurus but bedtime, and we can feel into the area demanding a shift in our life.
Wednesday, November 17th
This is a complicated day, to say the least. We awake with the Moon in Taurus applying to a conjunction with Uranus, and both will be in a trine to Venus in Capricorn (see photo of chart) and in opposition to Mars. This aspect is drawing focus to the light-bearers impending retrograde and also the Mars opposition to Uranus.
Let's tackle the Mars opposition to the Moon and Uranus first, which is exact around mid-day. If you have been looking for an opportunity to change something about your story, this is a gem of an opportunity. However, I would be remiss if I did not point out that this can bring unexpected events. The Moon's involvement can add emotional expression or awareness to this energetic release of tension. If you are feeling unhinged today, this would be the astrological weather that reflects why. As I said earlier, we could see tensions rise across the world. Uranus in Taurus invites us to shift our value system, what we love, what we find comfortable, how we engage with mother earth, and even our money and assets. We may be surprised by our own desires today.
Now let's talk about Venus which, incidentally, rules Taurus. It is in Capricorn, and today it meets the degree that marks the beginning of its shadow period, meaning it will retrace these degrees eventually. Venus' coming retrograde will synthesize the themes and events encompassed in the Capricorn area of our charts. Pluto has been in Capricorn since 2008, Saturn joined in 2017, and Jupiter's ingress in 2019 heralded the metaphorical remodeling of our entire foundation with the conjunction of these three heavy-hitting planetary archetypes in early 2020. This Venus transit brings to light the significance of its stay in the sign of success, authority, mastery, and rules until March of next year. My impression is that we will be synthesizing, reviewing, and assessing the lessons we've learned and how our values have evolved. Beginning now and until March, expect to be enlightened on what closing this chapter means and how we want to move forward. Ultimately today will feel appropriately complex, filled with epiphanies and even unexpected turns of events. Pay specific attention to the evening when the Moon exactly trines Venus, and then meets Uranus to oppose Mars. Mercury trines Neptune overnight making for an active dream world and intuitive messages while we sleep.
Thursday November 18th
The Eclipse portal is open as the dawn breaks. It will not be exact until the wee hours of Friday early morning, but it is closing in on this event even as we awake. The Moon in Taurus has a few things to take care of first. It opposes Mercury in Scorpio first thing, which activates a link between our mind and our gut. We may feel like we understand something that we didn't before. Be aware that with Mars and Uranus close by and in opposition, we may be prone to verbal outbursts. Secrets also have a tendency to be revealed during transits like this. Simultaneously the Moon in Taurus is sextile to, and Mercury is trining Neptune; to put it simply, today will probably feel very strange. Neptune can create confusion or inspiration. It is a time that is very mystical, and fated events or people might enter our story. In the evening, Venus makes its exact and liberating trine with Uranus, and The Moon also in Taurus squares Jupiter in Aquarius and trines Pluto in Capricorn simultaneously. See, I told you Luna had a lot of business to take care of! Accordingly, this evening will focus on what we believe to be our truth and what we need to change to feel personally empowered.
Now can I talk about the eclipse? It has been a dense week of transits that all build-up to this notable eclipse which spans a large portion of the chart. The Full Moon is at 27º of Taurus, but the North Node, the eclipse point, is at 1º of Gemini. So not only do we need to look at where these two signs are in our charts, but also their opposing signs as the Sun is in Scorpio and the South Node is in Sagittarius. The ultimate theme of the Gem/Sag eclipses has been allowing ourselves to learn, change our minds, explore new beliefs, release limiting narratives, and make way to write a new story. But with the Moon and Sun being out of sign, it gives us a preview of next year's eclipse themes in Taurus/Scorpio. As a result, this eclipse will also likely show us how we are developing new values, a greater sense of self-worth, and a redrawing of boundaries regarding how we share ourselves and our assets with others. One vital connection by the Moon is its loose square to Jupiter and trine to Pluto. This will emphasize how our beliefs have shifted over the last year and any power imbalances in our lives. Again we ask, what has authority over us, and do we believe we want that in our lives anymore? The eclipse is exact at 2:57 am CST (8:57 am UT), as most of us sleep. I wonder what truths we might be shown in the dream world.
Friday November 19th
The Moon moves into Gemini rather quickly but is still oriented towards the eclipse energy as it meets the North Node early in the day. With things turning Mercurial, we may have multiple aha moments throughout this Friday. The Moon is also applying to a trine with Saturn all day, indicating the willingness to establish a future-oriented framework.
Saturday, November 20th
The Moon is still in Gemini today and will be inconjunct (or quincunx) to both Mars in Scorpio and Venus in Capricorn (making a sextile to one another). This is a crucial aspect known as a YOD or "the Finger of God". This suggests that if we want to write a new story, we must be clear on our values and desires. This theme is also represented by Mercury in Scorpio, sextile Pluto in Capricorn, and square Jupiter in Aquarius. We are definitely trying to figure something out intellectually. Be open-minded, write, talk with trusted friends or a counselor. Sometimes we already know the answer but don't realize it until we hear ourselves say it aloud. The Moon squares Neptune overnight, signifying yet another dream-filled sleep.
Sunday November 21st
The mental energy persists into Sunday as we wake up with the Moon in Gemini trining Jupiter in Aquarius and Mercury holding steady to its connections with Jupiter and Pluto. Ultimately with the Moon going void-of- course (not making any other aspects until it moves into the next sign) after 9:30 am, it will be a day of zoning out. We must take time to meditate, rest, and synthesize. This day also marks the last degree of the Sun in Scorpio as it moves into Sagittarius at dinner time, and the Moon moves into Cancer as we go to sleep - nurture your nerves with a bath or some other calming and soul-nourishing ritual.
Monday November 22nd
Today is the first full day of the Sagittarius season, a time when we celebrate life and espouse our beliefs to those we gather with. Let us keep in mind that we are in between eclipses, and anything that happens during this time can be meaningful to our story. The Moon is in Cancer today but will give us a bit of a rest and time to feel. It won't make any aspects until bedtime when it sextiles Uranus in Taurus, allowing us to feel emotional liberation and revolution.
Lunar Eclipse & Full Moon in Gemini/Taurus
Monday November 8th
This is the a very Monday like Monday - in fact the week itself is fairly intense. Mars in Scorpio is approaching a square with Saturn in Aquarius, which will bring up similar feelings or situations from October 29th and 30th when the Sun squared Saturn. This can feel like there is an obstacle in your path or a responsibility to attend to. When Mars is in Scorpio it wants to feel deeply and passionately but Saturn in Aquarius is calling us to a forward thinking higher minded approach. The Moon, wandering through its least comfortable sign of Capricorn all day can feel a bit repressive or cold. Luckily the afternoon brings the Moon trine the planet of liberation and upheaval, Uranus in Taurus. This will be a brief but powerful emotional epiphany about where we need to break free. (Mars square Saturn builds and persists for the whole first half of this week)
Tuesday November 9th
We awake with the Moon in Capricorn meeting up with the planet of Power & Transformation, Pluto, which makes for a transformative start to the day and gives us the desire to be our own authority. Mercury is moving closer to its exact conjunction with Mars in Scorpio. This is a potentially inflammatory transit but definitely a motivating one. Mercury rules the mind and in Scorpio we are thinking and communicating about where we want control in our lives which will make it nearly impossible to avoid obsessing about our truest and deepest desires - and Mars the planet of will-power and action might just push us to the decision to DO SOMETHING about the situation in question. But keep in mind at the same time these planets are meeting up they are also forming a square with Saturn in Aquarius, which is saying there is more work to be done as we innovate our foundations and the way we work towards our goals. This persists and builds through Wednesday. There is not much to actually be done today but pondering and planning as the Moon will be Void of Course from mid-day until bedtime. This is a day to lay out the mental groundwork.
Wednesday November 10th
Waking up with the Moon conjoining Saturn and squaring Mars and Mercury in Scorpio will mean this is a day of reckoning. We appraise our efforts and see exactly where we need to put in the work. With Mercury meeting Mars its as if we have seen clearly to the bottom of our own well, the deepest desires driving us to the mastery that Saturn in Aquarius is beckoning us to. This is the point in which we size up and estimate what move to make and how to get around, under, over, or directly through the wall. Even though this transit is viewed as fairly intense, it is helpful because we can now determine just where to put our energy and by the evening we could feel like we have the drive to accompany our determination for a new and better future.
Thursday November 11th
Thursday is sure to be an interesting day with it being the first quarter waxing square of the Moon as it also conjoins Jupiter. It can feel quite expansive but there may be a little grief mixed in as it seems we are leaving an old “ME” behind - shedding skin just like a snake. This expansiveness comes with a strange goodbye to an old way of being. Allow yourself to see the events of the last year from a birds-eye-view. The Moon moves into Pisces overnight which can create a very restful but dream filled sleep.
Friday November 12th
We have now come to the day that I am most excited about. The weekend will be exciting, shocking, liberating and inspirational. We wake with the Moon in mystical Pisces making an opportunistic sextile to Venus in Capricorn and a beautiful trine to Mars in Scorpio. On top of that the Sun will be trine Neptune all day. "Ok Ok Mandi", you might ask, "What does that MEAN anyway?" It means we are encouraged us to let obsolete egoic desires dissolve into the ether which allows a clean slate and a fresh start. Mercury is getting closer to exactly opposing Uranus which is a majorly inspirational and maybe mind-blowing transit. If you are searching for a creative spark, this is the weekend for it. Connections to Neptune and Pisces like today’s can provide a chance to commune with the muses and reach up and grab an idea from the web of collective consciousness. This is a day to create! But beware the escapist tendencies of this otherworldly transit which can lead to delusion and addictive tendencies can rear their ugly head. Keep future you in mind - what do you want to take with you to the future and what do you want to leave behind?
Saturday November 13th
Mercury exactly opposes Uranus first thing in the morning, this can be interpreted as mental innovation or upheaval. We could learn new information that changes our point of view or perhaps finally come to terms with our changing values. The Moon meets Neptune and trines the Sun which continues the transcendent and mystical themes from the previous day. Enjoy this wonderful energy and connect with the divine and dance in the dreamworld!
Sunday November 14th
On this day we are greeted with the Moon leaving Pisces and moving into active Aries first thing in the morning. Take today to nurture your body and your nervous system as Venus is coming into a square and the Moon is applying to a conjunction with Chiron, the wounded healer. See yourself for the truly unique person you are and more importantly, be ready to show that authentic self to the world. Mars in Scorpio is getting closer and closer to its opposition to Uranus which will dominate the entirety of next week along with a Lunar Eclipse. The energy begins to ramp up as we go to bed with the Sun squaring Jupiter. This ushers in an abundance of angst and the coming week will show it. This is why you it is an extremely good idea to become acutely acquainted with your true self today and practice self-love.
Speaking of my self-love, it is also my birthday. I am pretty excited about turning 38.
Monday November 15th
Today is a big day full of surprises. The Sun in Scorpio is square to Jupiter in Aquarius. This accompanied by the building Mars opposition to Uranus will make it impossible to hide what we truly want, but the more important question is, what would we do if we GOT what we wanted? Monday night features the Moon in Aries applying to a Square with Powerful Pluto. Do we have what it takes to stand in our own authority? Tuesday will tell.
Monday November 1st
We awake with the aspect of Moon in Virgo first in trine to Pluto in Capricorn which is supportive of our inner transformation. Then the Moon in Virgo squares Venus in Sagittarius which, even though is a tense aspect, is not necessarily a negative thing. In these particular signs it can lend itself to a tug of war between the need to hold back, attend to our work, and be modest versus the need to explore and expand our horizons. As the day wears on, the intensity seems to build as Mercury in Libra approaches its final Square with Pluto. The rules of the game can challenge the mental need for peace and balance - we may feel as if someone or something has power over us especially in regards to relationships and communication. Mercury first squared Pluto on September 22nd, then turned retrograde and repeated its square on October 1st. This is the last pass and I would recommend checking in with these dates to see what the theme might be for you. Did you have to change your perspective or perhaps learn new information that caused you to have to draw a boundary? Check the houses that Libra and Capricorn are on in your chart for a deeper understanding. To put an exclamation point on the whole thing, the Moon moves into Libra early evening of this Moonday. Perhaps we have new insight.
Tuesday November 2nd
Today the Moon is in Libra making a supportive trine to Saturn in Aquarius (early A.M). This is a good aspect for a productive conversations and getting things done. With Mercury Squaring Pluto in the early hours of the morning, it is just the right time to have a necessary and possibly difficult conversation with someone about how things are balanced. Lean on Saturn in Aquarius - the message is, you are innovating your foundations and so you must build relationships in such a way as to support your future self. Soon after though the Moon will oppose Chiron around 10 am which can be a briefly sensitive moment especially in regards to how we balance our needs with those of others. The rest of the day will be fairly quiet with no other major aspects being made. I think we must need time to synthesize and process as we are heading into New Moon territory.
Wednesday November 3rd
The majority of the day features a Moon in Libra applying to a conjunction with Mercury which enhances the emotional processing of the day prior and perhaps brings us to a conclusion. And congratulations, Mercury is now out of the Shadow of its Retrograde and it is charging into new territory. The Moon / Mercury conjunction is also in a loose sextile to Venus in Sagittarius which is drawing attention to what we value in regards to belief systems and philosophy. I look forward to epiphanies today! But of course we cannot forget that the Moon also briefly squares Pluto - I think this is more like a powerful punctuation on all of the lessons we have learned in Libra Season. It should be noted that today the Sun is building to its opposition with Uranus, the planet of change, upheaval, and liberation. We should be prepared for unexpected events as we enter the New Moon which will be exactly opposite Uranus. The Moon moves into Scorpio around 7 pm and really changes up the vibe as now we dig deep into our shadow and deepest desires. The night is shaping up to be quite passionate as the Moon meets with Mars as we tuck ourselves in.
Thursday November 4th NEW MOON IN SCORPIO
Today is New Moon day and it is already very active as soon as we wake up. The Moon in Scorpio makes a tense square to Saturn first thing in the morning which can be a brief frustration as Saturn is the task master and the Moon in Scorpio is feeling deeply into our desires. This New Moon in Scorpio is exact at 4:15 pm Centra and is characterized by its exact opposition to the change-maker Uranus in Taurus. It is going to be quite the Metamorphosis Moon cycle. This axis symbolizes one’s own values, assets, and comfort zone (Taurus) and how we share that with others (Scorpio). With Uranus in such a close opposition this will be deeply symbolic of how we are freeing ourselves from places where we have become stuck or even apathetic and therefore how that might change and shift the balance of power in our closest relationships and contracts we are in. I have said in the past that Uranus in Taurus is very much like an earthquake - and when we think of it opposite these Scorpio transits, its as if this earthquake sets off an underwater Volcano. Another piece of the puzzle for this phase is the activation of the fixed signs via the Saturn square to Uranus which will perfect one more time in December. This is a push for freedom against the tyranny of the old guard. This New Moon is also very important in previewing the themes active next year as the eclipses will move to the Scorpio/Taurus axis in January. With Mars in the same sign as the New Moon, which is also the place it calls home, this particular dark phase has connotations of passion, obsession, and power. In other words, this normally quiet astrological moment is filled with an unusually intense energy. And fair warning, it only get’s crazier as the Full Moon will be a fated Lunar Eclipse. With Mercury freshly off its square to Pluto and applying to an opportunistic sextile with Venus in Sagittarius, we can tune into what feels right and true for us in this moment. So pay attention, keep those eyes wide open and keep your mind open and ready to pivot just in case Uranus throws a curve ball!
**Extra note on the New Moon in Scorpio - check below for the themes associated for each rising sign. These themes will be the area that you are going to be transforming over this Moon phase and also next year.
Friday November 5th
This is a day of change. When we wake up Venus will move into Capricorn. Venus brings out the best of our drive to success and achievement in Capricorn and can be very beneficial for bringing structure and success to relationships. The Moon in Scorpio is also squaring Jupiter in Aquarius first thing in the morning which can get a little strange in these fixed signs. Jupiter in Aquarius is encouraging all things non-conformist and the Moon in Scorpio might just want to be obsessive about it and over-indulgent. Mercury is at the last degree of Libra today and will move into Scorpio at dinner-time. Mercury in Scorpio turns our minds to our inner world, the deepest desires we possess and wants to get to the heart of whatever is going on yet, don’t expect people to open up willingly with Mercury in Scorpio. It is a very good time to plan things on the down-low. Mars is also still in Scorpio which means there is a whopping 4 cosmic characters in this sign for at least a couple of hours on Friday evening. This will be an evening where we become acutely aware of what we want and the places we want to empower ourselves. The Moon then moves in to Sagittarius around 8 pm central and we get a dose of expansiveness and optimism to end the night with.
Saturday November 6th
Moon in Sagittarius can be idealistic and want to feel into what is true and real - and we are supported in this as we awake with the Moon in an opportunistic sextile to Saturn in Aquarius. Dreams may be active overnight as the Moon makes a square to mystical Neptune.
Sunday November 7th
The Moon is sextile Jupiter in Aquarius turning our minds to the future early in the morning and then goes void-of-course (meaning it makes no other connections) for the rest of the day. Today is a worthy day of rest and relaxation and it would be wise to use it to charge up for the week, some of which could be tense. The Moon moves into Capricorn around 7 pm and will meet Venus as we go to bed. This is a very beneficial evening for love and money.
Monday November 8th
This is the a very Monday like Monday - in fact the week itself is intense - Mars in Scorpio is approaching a square with Saturn which will perhaps bring up similar feelings or situations from October 29th and 30th when the Sun squared Saturn. This can feel like there is an obstacle in your path, or responsibility to attend to. When Mars is in Scorpio it wants to feel deeply and passionately but Saturn in Aquarius is calling us to a higher minded approach with the future in mind. The Moon, wandering through its least comfortable sign of Capricorn all day can feel a bit oppressive until the afternoon when it trines the planet of freedom and upheaval, Uranus in Taurus. Mars square Saturn persists for the whole first half of the week with Mercury coming in to conjoin it as well making things a bit explosive and angst filled. I would mark Monday-Wednesday down as a time to attend to your nervous system and try to soothe and nurture yourself as it could be a week of tense situations as this aspect perfects. Wednesday seems to be the culmination with the Moon also hitting Saturn at the same time as Mercury and Mars are square. I might even expect to see things happen on a collective/world stage this week with regards to social unrest or even earth/weather events. More on that next week :)

Happy Halloween everyone!! This week has some intense and also some sweet moments. Overall its the fact the Sun must contend with a square to Saturn that will make the biggest impression this week, along with Mars leaving Libra and moving into the depths of Scorpio. I encourage you to pay attention to Friday and the weekend when the Sun squares Saturn as we will have a similar situation with Mars and Mercury meeting up and Squaring Saturn around November 9th and 10th. So in other words, this theme will persist! Things get busy as we are starting down the slippery slope of eclipse season as well. Hold tight to your power center, breathe into your root chakra, and feel the core of who you are and who Saturn is inviting you to become! Saturn is known as a ruthless instructor but is also the one that will provide a path to unmatched authority and mastery.
We awoke today with the Moon in Gemini trining Mars in Libra on this Moonday which hopefully provided the ability to communicate, listen, and plan our day! Mid-day has a ‘Void-of-Course’ Moon. This means it doesn’t make any aspects until it changes signs and is said to slow things down and make accomplishing things hard. Myself? I actually got quite a bit done so this is a good example of how not every rule in Astrology is always definite. It depends on YOU! The activity of a Gemini Moon will give way to our emotional needs as the Moon moves into Cancer on Monday evening just after 4 pm. The Moon will immediately trine the Sun in Scorpio which could turn our focus inward. This dials up the intuition a few notches and puts a focus on feelings. Venus will be approaching a square to Neptune today which gives the quality of this Monday a very magical and perhaps a bit escapist or overindulgent. Venus is also approaching a sextile with Jupiter so all in all this seems like a good day to connect with a loved one or friends but take some steps to ground yourself in reality to avoid getting carried away with Money or Love :)
Venus is squaring Neptune all of the day which gives it a quality of magical escape, but sometimes delusion. Focus efforts today on anything that requires creativity or intuition. Restlessness could also be a feature due to the fact Venus will also be approaching an opportunistic sextile to Jupiter. What we could be experiencing with the planet of love and money connecting with both Jupiter and Neptune this week is a dissolution of some old or outdated belief and the introduction of a new innovative truth especially keeping the future in mind. The Moon in Cancer will make a few interesting connections throughout this Tuesday. First it squares Chiron in Aries around 11 am which can be sensitive but will also be brief. By the early evening it is making an opportunistic sextile to Uranus in Taurus which provides the opportunity to free ourselves from any place we may be emotionally stuck. Late evening the Moon makes a tense square to Mercury in Libra and difficult conversations or thoughts may come up. This may be a good night to sleep on it and allow yourself space to think before reacting.
This is a very intensely magical day. We awake with the Moon in Cancer forming a grand trine which with Vesta in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces. This is a day best started with whatever spiritual practice you prefer. Meditation, prayers, chanting, moving your body, spending time in nature, or even being creative in some way. Give yourself as much space as you can to tune in to that still small voice that guides and directs you. We will need the reserves for later as the Moon will begin to oppose Pluto and square Mars in Libra by the evening. Emotions could be easily inflamed especially in regards to boundaries in relationships. This is an evening to feel into what empowers you and direct your energies to supporting that feeling.
The Moon moves into Leo in the early morning and will almost immediately begin to square the Sun in Scorpio. This is the last quarter square of the waning Moon phase and is considered the last adjustment from the prior New Moon. It is very much related to how we mentally and spiritually adjust to a new way of being. Dane Rudhyar calls the waning last square a “crisis in consciousness”. With the signs Leo and Scorpio we find that we have to adjust the Leo part of use our inner child which needs play and to be seen, to the deep parts of us that desire power and control or sometimes feel disempowered. How do those work together inside of you? Unfortunately to make this last quarter square a little more intense is the addition of Saturn in Aquarius just a few degrees away from being an exact T-Square. Saturn is adding the pressures of responsibility and mastery in order to build a strong, and radically different, future. The inner child could feel oppressed! The Sun in Scorpio at the T of this square is demanding of us that we stand in our power and do not accept less than the best. Although the Sun is at 5 degrees and Saturn at 7, this will really kick off the Sun square Saturn which is exact on Saturday. All in all this can make this particular end of the week a little uncomfortable. Yet, as if to allow us a little light in an otherwise dark space, Venus in Sagittarius is in its exact opportunistic sextile with Jupiter today giving us the ability to see through the difficulties and imagine the possibilities. Keep your eyes on FUTURE YOU!
Today is a doozy! The Moon will square Uranus in the pre-dawn hours of the early morning which gives us the feeling of need for freedom as the Sun rises. Mars which represents our will and ego moves to the 29th and last degree of Libra today, also known as the anaretic degree which is described as a degree of crisis and need for action. In the sign of Libra, Mars is pushing for balance, fairness, justice. It wants things to be steady and just right especially in regards to relationships. To add to this critical moment, is the Sun approaching its exact square to Saturn. This reminds me of the image of old where a school teacher is slapping the hand of a student with a ruler. When you read that how does it make you feel? To me, it gives me a tight feeling in my chest and a slight drop in my stomach. Saturn in its home sign of Aquarius demands mastery and innovation and can subjugate the Sun in Scorpio. This is going to be a test of what you truly desire and how much you value yourself. Do you have the personal will to push through? Breathe deep today into the root chakra and envision future you. What is it willing to do to get there? The Moon sextiles Mercury and then opposes Jupiter late in the evening which may help us to open our mind and change our perspective or communicate our feelings to those around us. Use this evening to journal and synthesize.
What a spooky Halloween weekend. We awake this SaturnDay with the Sun (FINALLY) making its exact square to Saturn just before it rises. At around 9:30 am the energy shifts quite a bit as Mars makes its move into its home sign of Scorpio. This will be a palpable shift in how we engage with reality. We have received the message from Saturn about exactly what work will be required and suddenly we find the strength and will to do what is necessary. This activates our power center and the need to transform ourselves. Mars in Scorpio can be quite passionate and intense but is extremely good for getting things done and helping us to stand in our power. The Moon starts out in Leo but at around 2 pm moves into discerning Virgo which will encourage us to get the details right. This will be a weekend of realizations.
The major story on this day of Halloween is Mercury in Libra approaching a trine to Jupiter in Aquarius all day which will be exact just before midnight. This will expand the need to be social, have conversations, be creative, and do anything considered Mercurial. The Moon in Virgo trines Uranus in Taurus mid-day giving us a need for spontaneity especially in regards to our daily routines and rituals. But later in the evening the Virgo Moon starts to oppose Neptune. This is what I would call a thin veil. Dreams and intuition will be active but delusion and confusion easy to fall into. Keep your wits about you as this lends itself to escapism which some will find in the form of drugs and alcohol. This is a good night to keep at least one foot on the ground.
Monday November 1st
We awake with the aspect of Moon in Virgo first in trine to Pluto in Capricorn which is supportive of our inner transformation. Then the Moon in Virgo squares Venus in Sagittarius which, even though is a tense aspect, is not really a bad thing.
Hello all. I have had such a tumultuous few weeks. Forgive me for no video last week. This week I will be providing the video in the morning, hopefully live. I have been a little under the weather and quite overwhelmed but I do intend on offering some insight because, well, I LOVE to do it. I get so aggravated and angry at myself when things are hard for this reason or that. But as a personal experience note - I am truly experiencing these transits in the way my Cancer Rising suggests (so check yours below!!!). I am working from home exclusively since around March 2020- the Mars and Pluto conjunction in Capricorn. This week Mars will have made it all the way to its 3rd Quarter square from its Libra placement to Pluto in Capricorn and this is the last adjustment of the whole cycle. The Full Moon will complete a T-Square to this Mars square Pluto and that in nature is very tense and requires action. For me, a cancer rising, the full moon activates my 10th house of authority / career / public image / ambition as well as my 4th house of emotional security / home / family and 7th house of relationship. Both my partner and I have had a lot of external pressure from career and our responsibilities at home - this has inevitably put pressure on our relationship. We even work at home together. It has been a learning curve for us both. I am eternally grateful we are the type to ‘have it out’ 🤣with as much love as is available to us and move on and forward; it is a special type of relationship to be that workable. But that doesn’t exempt you from having to go through the working it out. The pressures we all face can feel insurmountable and it is in those moments we have to come back to ourselves. Who are you? Can you be your authentic self in relationship? What about, out there, in the world?
So, I am being kind to myself in my “career”. I can’t be everything everyone expects me to be but yet, don’t I owe people a little of what expectation I have conditioned them to have? Oooooh, what a dualistic world we live in. So here I am saying I’m looking forward to connecting with you tomorrow, a day later than normal, either live or when I put my video up on YouTube. I will explain these energies perhaps more clearly than I can do with words. I am convinced my face tells a whole story that couldn't be told in words! Here is the sabian symbol for the Full Moon as well as the week ahead and Full Moon themes by rising sign. Blessings and love.
ARIES 28º A LARGE AUDIENCE CONFRONTS THE PERFORMER WHO DISAPPOINTED ITS EXPECTATIONS.
KEYNOTE: The necessity for mature preparation and self-criticism.
We see here the tangible results of the situation evoked by the two preceding symbols. Great hopes, excited expectations cannot be sustained. The last symbol reveals the performer's state of consciousness; in this one he is actually made fully aware of having promised - to the many elements of his own personality as well as perhaps to other human beings - more than he was able to deliver. The issue is how to handle this situation. In one form or another, it is an often recurring situation in the life of an individual person. The manner in which it is met determines the individual's future possibilities of development and achievement.
This is the third stage of this five-fold sequence. What is implied here is the need to be more than "obsessed by potentiality" and subjectively involved in the use of the new powers. The objective results have to be considered, i.e. what this use will do. The individual is not alone concerned, for in a sense mankind as a whole will be affected. What is required, therefore, is an objective inclusiveness of the whole environment; thus a sense of RESPONSIBILITY for what one's actions will produce in people who have been made to expect significant results.
Mercury and Jupiter both turn direct today. The Moon moves into Aries and so this kicks off the Full Moon period which will happen on Wednesday morning 10/20. It will feel very high energy today - maybe even anxious or angsty for some. Keep in mind we are entering the fiery territory of the Full Moon this week! The Moon sextile’s Saturn in the late afternoon inviting us to be productive. But as the evening wears on, take care of your body this evening as the Moon conjoins Chiron in Aries and opposes Mercury in Libra which is moving very slowly at the moment. This type of energy can be quite exhausting because it truly is asking you to take action on the things that the Retrograde has illuminated over the last few weeks. This may just reflect the realizations and epiphanies but it sets the stage for a week that can be considered a big turning point.
The Full Moon is building to its height today and while on its climb it is making many important connections. In the morning the Moon is trining Venus in Sagittarius making for a passionate and pensive start to the day, and it will remain that way until early evening when it begins to sextile Jupiter and oppose Mars at the same time. This is very mixed energy. It could result in explosive emotions, but it could also result in a coming together. And perhaps former has to happen for the latter to occur! Either way the best way to sum this up is big feelings in regards to relationships, personal autonomy, and where both are headed in the future. This sets the stage for a choice to be made on the Full Moon. Jupiter helps us see the truth of the matter, the Moon in Aries wants to take action on our own desires and Mars in Libra is fighting for balance.
And what is that choice we are making today? Look no further than Pluto in Capricorn. What was going on in April of this year for you? That was a New Moon in Aries square Pluto and also sextile Jupiter in Aquarius. The similarities in energies of this is Full Moon in Aries square Pluto and loosely sextile Jupiter will complete this theme and be the last time we work on this specific energy for a long time. What do you believe to be true about yourself? What do you allow to have power over you. Are the scales balanced? Jupiter in Aquarius has assisted us with the birds eye view necessary to see the path forward and Pluto has shown us fundamental changes to the structure of our lives are in order if we want to show up fully and authentically as ourselves in the Aries part of our chart. Late afternoon the Moon moves into Taurus quickly bringing our emotional focus to how our values and comfort zones have been shifted and changed over the last two years as Uranus has been in Taurus.
The heightened and possibly intense energy doesn’t let up today as we awake with the Moon meeting Uranus in Taurus. I have observed these days as moments of Emotional Epiphany and an ability to make changes, and this is compounded by the fact Mars in Libra is squaring the planet of Transformation and Power, Pluto. Pluto is making his presence known this entire week. This is the closing square of a Mars Pluto cycle that began March 23rd 2020. Does that date ring a bell? Closing squares are the last adjustment of a phase and the theme here is our inner authority, boundaries, and the balance of power. The next Mars Pluto conjunction will be with Venus in March of next year and will start the last Mars Pluto conjunction in the Cardinal signs. This is in essence our last go round with Mars interaction with a Cardinal Pluto - saving a few squares and an opposition aspects into 2024 until 2067. It’s a big deal. Pay attention today. You may want to make some journal notes about this week.
The Moon is still in Taurus and it is squaring Jupiter in Aquarius and sextile Venus first thing in the morning. We may have big plans or ideas. With Venus in Sagittarius be cautious about overspending or overindulging over the weekend. This is the Sun’s last day in Libra but with the Moon trining Pluto there is likely to be some synthesizing happening today in regards to the events of the past week. Mercury also trines the Asteroid Goddess Ceres which will direct us to tune in intellectually to our what our needs are and how to relay them to others. Communication is key to relationships today. The Sun moves into Scorpio just before midnight Central time.
Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th
The weekend feels fairly quiet. The shift into Scorpio ushers in the energy of Samhain and Halloween. Scorpio season is the when we compost and transmute, in essence we get rid of the things that don’t serve us or that have run their course. Scorpio is ruled by Mars in Libra for the first few days of this Scorpio season and doesn’t make many connections right away which gives us a chance to get used to the fixed signs that are about to become the highlighted points in our charts. The Moon is in Gemini all weekend giving our minds and hearts the opportunity to connect, understand, think, and listen. We may feel like we are making some headway as the Moon trines Saturn on Saturday and Mercury overnight. Sunday the Moon opposes Venus which is bringing awareness to what we believe about relationships verses how we intellectually process our feelings about them. The Moon in Gemini is also approaching a trine with Jupiter that is exact Sunday evening. So overall this will be a great day to communicate needs and bring balance and understanding to any situation just be aware of the Moon square Neptune in Pisces which can bring confusion and a need to disconnect.
We awake with the Moon in Gemini trining Mars in Libra on this Moonday. This will hopefully provide the ability to communicate, listen, and plan our day! Our minds will be active as we start the week but that will give way to our emotional needs as the Moon moves into Cancer on Monday evening. The Moon will immediately trine the Sun in Scorpio which could turn our focus inward.

Moon is in Sagittarius in the morning but moves into Capricorn mid-day - which means it begins approaching the first quarter square, or as you may view it, the half moon! This is the first adjustment after planting the seed of the New Moon phase so it has potential to be a tense day regarding rules and boundaries that you need to set in relationships. The helpful thing about this moon transit through Saturn ruled Capricorn is that Venus in Sagittarius will make an opportunistic sextile to Saturn in Aquarius which has JUST gone direct (finally). So, while the work has to be done it is supported by the highest minded ideals and goals! The sextile is exact on Wednesday but already active as we begin the week. We still have Mercury retrograding through Libra as well as the Sun and Mars which have just conjoined to begin a new phase. The beginning of this week may feel like a brand new start.
If you are an early riser, you may catch the Moon square to Chiron in Aries and Mercury Retrograde in Libra which makes a t-square in which we are required to act on how we communicate and cooperate in relationships but also how we stay in our authenticity and sovereignty. The Moon in Capricorn says “well, perhaps we should adjust the rules and boundaries”. With Saturn direct in Aquarius sextile Saturn it may feel more possible to do so. As we approach the evening we are also getting closer to the waxing first quarter square. With the Pluto very close by it will be time to push forward and step into our own power and authority. The evening will be deep and contemplative.
Early morning the Moon crosses over Pluto so we will wake up to a feeling of resolve. Venus is sextile Saturn all day giving us support that we need from our own inner truth and visions for the future. The Sun is approaching an extremely supportive trine to Jupiter, the archetype of expansion and truth and is with just a few degrees which should give today a bit of a hopeful vibe which gets stronger as the evening progresses.
We wake up with the Moon in Aquarius just passing Saturn and in a sextile with Venus in Sagittarius which will then make the day more expansive and future-focused than it has been in quite some time. The Moon will then sextile Chiron as it trines Mercury Retrograde late morning just before lunch which invites us all to feel into the ways we can restructure our relationships to support healing that authentic self that wants to be accepted and loved. The evening yields a trine between the Moon and Jupiter to Mars and the Sun which gives us the necessary diplomatic initiative and innovative ways of thinking to bring out of balance places in our lives into equilibrium.
We are dominated by the positive energy of Moon/Jupiter trine to Sun/Mars which is altogether motivating and inspiring. However it will be helpful to watch any ego or anger outbursts as Mars can being expanded by Jupiter in that way. As well as the fact Mercury Retrograde in Libra makes it to the 10th degree of Libra which exactly opposes Chiron Retrograde. Sensitivities could be high, but so is our ability to rise above them. This has a lot to do with the fact that Venus is coming into a nice supportive trine with Chiron at the same time. This is a good day to keep FUTURE YOU in mind. The Moon moves into Pisces overnight and the dream world will be active!
Saturday 10/16 and Sunday 10/17
This weekend is an interesting one and does not seem as light to me as the week prior. First thing Saturday morning I notice is the Sun approaching it’s square with Pluto (and is exact Sunday AM) which will have major reverberations in the way we stand in our power especially regarding relationships. What seems fair and balanced, or not? Energy is truly building the entirety of the weekend. The Moon is in Pisces all for the duration which could have us feeling like we would just rather escape. In addition Mars is applying to a trine with Jupiter all weekend which expands the good sides and bad sides of Mars so think ‘extra motivation and passion’ but also ‘extra anger and competitiveness or passive aggressiveness’. This will probably show itself most fiercely in relationships (of all kinds). The other dominating piece of the weekend puzzle is that both Mercury in Libra AND Jupiter in Aquarius will be stationing, which means slowing down to turn direct (both do this exactly on Monday the 18th). It makes both energies bigger and more commanding. So we can multiply all of what I have said by 100.
This deserves a preview. This Monday is shaping up to be a doozy. As I alluded to in the weekend bit, Mercury and Jupiter both turn direct today. The Moon moves into Aries just before sunrise exacerbating the fact Mars in Libra is being expanded by Jupiter in Aquarius. This also kicks off the Full Moon period which will happen on Wednesday 10/20. It will feel very high energy today - maybe even anxious or angsty for some. Keep in mind we are entering pretty fiery territory this week! Take care of your body this evening as the Moon conjoins Chiron in Aries.
New Moon in Libra is exact Wed October 6th at 6:05 am central us time.
We are dominated by confusing energy today as the Moon is in Virgo and it will be opposing Neptune for the majority of the day. We want to get things done but it may seem like a futile endeavor. Especially with Mercury currently retrograde and trine to Jupiter retrograde. It would not be surprising if communication gets disrupted in a major way which makes it a bit of a messy start to the week. Pluto is just about to turn direct so it is slow and standing still demanding attention to the places in our lives where there are power imbalances. What do you allow to hold power over you? This may become more clear later in the evening when the Moon trines Pluto and applies to a sextile with Venus in Scorpio. It is a good contemplation for this spacey Monday.
The Moon moves into Libra in the early morning (7:42 Central US time) in which it will join the Sun, Mars, and Mercury Retrograde. This is a fairly active New Moon phase as Mars brings either a bit of angst or a motivation to balance relationships. Mercury Retrograde is causing us to rethink how we communicate and cooperate. New Moon phases tend to be quiet and contemplative but this particular one is buzzing with activity. The first thing in the morning on Tuesday is the Moon trine the North Node which is brief but gives us a nudge towards the correct path. By evening the Moon makes a supportive connection to Saturn in Aquarius. We understand the work that needs to be done, especially in regards to how we relate to others, in order to achieve our goals. As nighttime rolls around the Moon opposes Chiron which can feel a bit sensitive, and so this is a night to rest early if possible.
The New Moon is exact in libra at 6:05 am Central US time - so this morning is really charged with a kind of quiet electricity. Its as if we are all on pause and plugged in to charge up today. But be aware, the connection could be hit and miss. Mercury Retrograde throws us for a loop when it comes to communication and mental processes so read, speak, and act as steadily as you can, especially with the added impulsive effect of the New Moon/Mars quincunx Uranus. Our desires will be glaringly obvious and hard to ignore! The Ruler of the New Moon, Venus, is at the late degrees of Scorpio which is associated with topics of power, transformation, and how we share ourselves. Adding to this theme, powerful Pluto the god of the Underworld, is stationing to go direct after lunch. The Moon meets trickster Mercury around dinner and we may find that we have a change of perspective. By dinner the Moon is trining Jupiter giving us big feelings about the future!
We awake on Thursday Morning with Venus leaving Scorpio which changes the feel of reality rather abruptly. Venus in Sagittarius wants to be optimistic and adventurous, yet, the Moon moves into Scorpio mid-morning so we are still left to deeply contemplate how we share ourselves. The new phase of the Moon also runs into an obstacle at dinnertime when it squares Saturn. This is a situation that could feel disempowering but try to re-frame and think about the work that needs to be done to achieve future goals. Keep your eyes on the prize!
We have a big wake-up call Friday morning as the Moon opposes Uranus which is a brief moment of upheaval especially regarding our emotions - this colors most of the day and by the evening the Moon is trining Neptune and Squaring Jupiter which indicates a need to trust our intuition on a situation rather than what we think we know about it. Dreams will be active this evening.
The weekend is shaped by Venus in Sagittarius applying to a conjunction with the South Node. This is a chance to let go of outdated narratives regarding Love and Money but you could have some karmic ghosts haunt your mental hallways with Mercury Retrograde. Don’t get caught up in the past! Look towards the future and allow yourself to marinate in the feelings. The Moon joins Venus and the South Node in Sagittarius by around 10:30 am central time which brings emotions into the fold. Moon conjunctions with Venus tend to be really sweet and beautiful, however the South Node being present does indicate some old karmic shadows so try use this opportunity to connect with ancestral knowledge rather than give into the temptation to fall back into old patterns. Saturday also holds the energy of the Mercury / Sun conjunction with Mars there as well, otherwise known as a Cazimi. I envision this as Mercury’s idea’s about relationships getting “burned away” by the light of the sun to make room for new ideas. We may be letting go of something that was never ours to carry today!
Are you ready to be productive? Great because Saturn goes direct today! The Moon in Sagittarius will sextile Mercury Rx, then Mars, then the Sun, and also Jupiter so it will feel like an extremely active day. I would not be surprise if lots of plans are made. Inspiration abounds and a the future begins to take shape. The Moon squares Neptune as we lay our heads down so the dream world may be active.
Moon moves into Capricorn mid-day - which means it begins approaching the first quarter square, or as you may view it, the half moon! This is the first adjustment after planting the seed of the New Moon phase so it has potential to be a tense day regarding rules and boundaries that you need to set in relationships.

Week of March 8th - 14th 2021
Monday / 8th
Monday we wake up with the Moon in determined Capricorn - it first makes an opportunistic connection with the Sun and Neptune in Pisces. But we double down on the rules and boundaries we have set for ourselves as the Moon conjoins Pluto later in the afternoon. This should feel like RESOLVE. Overall Monday could have a bit of a swing to it as we see the magical possibilities in the first part of the day and then become aware of the truth of the matter in the evening. Check in with yourself - are you letting your desire to escape reality mask the very real responsibilities of life in any way? Is there any situations in your life that seem too good to be true? Consult your intuition and communicate your goals and boundaries clearly today.
Tuesday / 9th
The Moon moves into Aquarius overnight and we wake up with a supportive trine to Warrior Mars in Gemini - if you have been needing a spark to move towards any goal, this is that spark. The Moon in Aquarius can have an emotionally detached but intellectual flair for thinking outside the box - so coupled with the trickster energy, we would do well to listen and learn from our surroundings during the morning. As minutes turn into hours, the Moon applies to a challenging Square aspect with shifty Uranus and a also a synergistic conjunction to responsible Saturn. This Moon transit will ignite the Saturn - Uranus square that has been and will be active all year. So, early afternoon into the evening has the propensity to bring in some emotional upheaval especially if we are feeling held back in any area or limited by Saturn. The tension between the desire for freedom and the desire to consciously and responsibly build towards our goals has both an oppressive and fevered quality. We are graciously granted a healing and supportive sextile between the Moon and Chiron in Aries that is helping us stand in our truth and autonomy. Remember, you have a right to be your unique self - focus on whatever is in alignment with that unique purpose.
Wednesday / 10th
The Moon is still in Aquarius and as we awake on Wednesday morning it joins up with the expansive and abundant energy of Jupiter. This typically means big emotions but because the Moon is in its balsamic waning phase, we may have big emotions but they may be more privately big. To add to the quiet and ethereal quality, the Sun meets up with diffusive and dreamy Neptune. This day may indeed seem like a dream and that is the best thing you can do with this specific type of energy: DREAM. And dream big! Let your imagination run - what goals will you be setting for this New Moon? Today is a good idea to brainstorm the possibilities as the Moon moves towards a conjunction with Mercury late that evening.
Thursday / 11th
The dreamy quality gets heavier today as the Moon moves into Pisces. If there ever was a time to make decisions - now is NOT that time. It IS however the time for Observation and Allowing. Why do I say this? The Moon is Void-of-Course most of the day, meaning it makes no aspects to any other planets which translates to not being able to accomplish much. The other reason is that Pisces as the overarching theme can be confusing and illusory. Overall it is best to lay low, connect with your spiritual, emotional, and mystic side. The first aspect the Moon makes is early evening and it is a challenging Square to Mars in Gemini. This could cause anxiety as we have the motivation and need to do something but we are lacking in the focus to do so. Take it easy on yourself!
Friday / 12th through Sunday /14th
Friday completely holds the mystical tone of the previous day. The Moon makes a challenging square to the Nodes early in the morning and this can have us questioning the path we are on. Pay attention to the stories you tell yourself during this time. If we can observe them for what they are we can allow the old narratives to just fade away into the Piscean mist. Late in the evening will feel magical as the Moon conjoins Venus. Again, don’t make any important decisions during this time. Escapism can be a major theme so be aware that you need to ground and check on the people around you. Many times this specific energy can invite one to over-indulge in all manner of things - keep it moderate!
The weekend is intensely mystical and dreamy with a New Moon in Pisces kicking it off Saturday Morning (5 am CST). The intentions you set on this day are some of the most potent this year because of the beneficial and magical presence of Venus and Neptune. This is not a New Moon to ignore, and if at all possible set intentions before 5 pm on Saturday when the Moon leaves the mist of Pisces. Sunday is for healing as the Moon has moved into Aries. It makes an opportunistic sextile to motivated Mars and also meets up with the wounded healer Chiron early in the morning. Making decisions that are best for our healing is the theme Sunday. It is helpful because we can be intellectually and emotionally aware of the best places to put our energy for the week ahead.
